Friendly primary tuition that helps children shine

I’m Jayne Davies (BSc, PGCE) — a fully‑qualified UK primary teacher since 2001. I build confidence, fill gaps and make learning enjoyable for ages 4–11. In‑person (Cotswolds) and online.

What I offer

Confidence & catch‑up

I help children make meaningful progress in their learning within each child’s unique window of tolerance. My sessions are supportive and designed to build essential skills while increasing confidence. I take into account each child’s learning journey so far, as well as the goals and priorities of both the child and their parents, to ensure tutoring is purposeful and effective.

SATS support

I provide focused support for all Year 6 SATs, including Reading, Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPaG), and Maths. Through targeted practice and clear explanations, I help children strengthen key skills, close learning gaps, and approach their tests with confidence. This preparation not only supports success in the SATs but also helps them feel ready and assured as they move on to secondary school.

Stretch & challenge

If your child is high attaining and thrives on enrichment, I offer engaging sessions that promote high expectations and deeper thinking. Learners are encouraged to explore complex problems, think critically, and develop greater independence — nurturing curiosity, confidence, and a genuine love of learning as they reach new heights in their learning journey.

Group Tuition

Learning Together

Group sessions offer a fun and supportive way for children to learn alongside others while still receiving plenty of individual attention. Each one-hour session includes a balance of shared activities and individual tasks to meet the needs of every learner.

Working in a small group helps to build confidence, communication skills, and motivation, as children see that others share similar learning goals and challenges.
